Man, 33, charged after ice cream truck crash



BRAMPTON, Ont. – A 33-year-old man faces impaired driving charges after allegedly crashing an ice cream truck into several vehicles and colliding with a house in Brampton.


Peel Police say the ice cream truck collided with numerous vehicles (on Travis Cres.) at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.


One of the vehicles the truck struck was then pushed into a house.


No injuries were reported, but police say the driver was arrested at the scene.


The suspect, who police have not identified, faces charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and failure to provide a breath sample.


He will appear in court to face the allegations on May 27.
